Tips for using coupons

Coupons can be tricky. The key is to be organized. I keep my coupons in a 3 ring binder with dividers with front pockets. The divider titles are: food, frozen food, non-food, store-misc. Within the divider sections I use clear 3 ring hole punched baseball card plastic sheets. I slip the coupons into the correct section and keep reviewing once a month to remove expired coupons. I shop at Safeway, Haggen & Fred Meyer, so I label the outside of each divider pocket for each store and keep coupons exclusively for that store in the pocket. Do not bother clipping coupons that you don’t think you will use. It just wastes your time.
